Haugesund International School is an official World IB School. We are authorized to offer the (PYP)Primary Years Programme and (MYP)Middle Years Programme
The IB offers programmes rather than just subjects, because we believe it is important to make connections, explore the relationships between academic disciplines and learn in a context that reaches beyond the scope of individual subjects. The goal is to offer students authentic opportunities to connect their learning to the world around them.
In 2024, we completed our five-year authorization according to IB standards and expectations.
